Hi, this is my Livejournal, and in the following post is a list of all the books I own, and ones I'm planning to buy. If you have a suggestion, please post it here : ) .

I like my LiveJournal layout. I really really like it. In order to have it like this, I have to have a Plus account, which means ads. I have them blocked. For a simple (I hope) walkthrough on how to block these ads yourself, check out this entry.

Soul Eater arrived a while ago. Only two months late. Am reading it now. Love the series. Speaking in sentence fragments.

The fourth book of the series has been released too, Outcast. I want it, but it's not in paperback yet, and I want it to match the other three, so I'll have to wait :( .

Here's something good. Audiobook anyone? As a promotion for Outcast's release, they released an audiobook of Wolf brother in podcast format. Download it and listen and love. It's read by Gandalf.

I only got The Will of the Empress and Darkwing because they didn't have the other books I was looking for, or they didnt' have them in softcover. Then I couldn't remember any other books I'd want to buy and I was practically being dragged out of the bookstore by my family. *sigh*
Darkwing is So good though. I've read almost half of it and love it. I really hope it goes into the history and mythology of the Silverwing series, because I loved those arts of the series. The battle of the birds and the beasts and Nocturna's Promise. Noctura's not dead in this book too!

Well, good I didn't buy too many books I guess, 'cause I spent a lot on my Wii. Finally got one, and bought Mario Party 8 and Twilight Princess too. I haven't tried Golf on Wii Sports, but that's all. I've finished the first part on Twilight Princess; about going through the forest bit at the beginning. Looks like I'm being sent to Hyrule next.

As you may have deduced if you've looked at the tags at the bottom of the post, I'm writing this entry from my room. We got a wireless router (Yay!) and a receiver for this computer here (Yay!). So now I can stay up until the ungodly hours of the morning without going downstairs.

Yay, computer fixed. And I got 95% of everything back to how it was before (for everyone: me, sister, and parents).
And it only took about 7 hours of installing, configuring, and moving things!
Now I'm finally able to do stuff during the day. Must... have... computer...
The computer is so much faster now too. No lags, and all the minor glitches have cleared up, so I guess it was worth it.

I changed the role of that one character in my Silverwing WW game again, so now it's all ready to host. I should host it soon too, Darkwing's released. I may or may not get it this weekend. It'll be hardcover, but it's separate from the Silverwing Trilogy. Hmm...
Well, what I was going to get this weekend is:

Which isn't much, since I doubt they'll have th UK covers. So maybe I'll get Darkwing and a Wii as well. We'll see.

I've now been working on my Digimon Tamers WW. I think everything's balanced, now I'm just writing descriptions, then rules, then it's (finally) done.

I did up a basic WW game to host at Light-Within Productions too (Join), and am starting it now (Join). And I got promoted to Global Mod leader to :).

Still willing to do mood themes if anyone wants one.

LJ change! A complete change too, the layout and everything. It's all based on/made because of this cute little Flamon mood theme I made. And I made the mood theme because of the Digimon 10th anniversary CD. There are a lot of good songs on that, the best being Daisuke's new song, Ashita. So catchy. I also really like Takuya's (hence the LJ theme), and TRY AGAIN by IKUO. I really, really like this look. How 'bout you?

Election, round 2!
I joined the Light-Within Productions forums (and am a global mod :D), and there are elections there now. It's not a clever ploy to get members. So, sign up if you want to, vote for me if you want to, not so much pressure this time though.

Oh, the computer went. I dunno what's wrong, it just suddenly started not working one afternoon even when it was working fine all morning. It would get stuck right before it normally would show the users to let you log on (it ran Windows XP). I couldn't get it to work, so it'll have to be taken in to a computer place for them to fix it.
In the meantime, I took the computer from my room and have it hooked up to the internet down here. No withdrawal for me!

Maplestory I haven't gotten to play 'cause of the computer's grave illness, but I was at 60% of level 51 on Jen, and Somewhere about 50% on my archer. It is so incredibly annoying to level my archer, somewhatless so for Jen, which is why he's rather a higher level.
KoL, I went into a hardcore oxy run, still doing the bounty hunter hunter quests each day. I'm left with so very few adventures each day; I'm level 9 now, but still haven't done the level 1 quest for lack of adventures XD.

And Soul Eater still hasn't arrived yet - it said I'd have to wait a few weeks, but I don't want to wait, it's my favourite series, give me the book, run on sentence!
I've been wanting to take a picture of my shelf to put on the book list post (which is always open if to further suggestions), but I'm waiting for Soul Eater.
I'll have more books too, we're going to a surprise retirement party for a friend of me parents on the weekend of the 25th. It's in Brandon and I should be able to convince them to spare some shopping time. I'm looking at The Will of th Empress, A Redwall Winter's Tale if they have it (same with the UK covers of the newest four Redwall books), Lady Friday, and maybe some other stuff. I'm wondering whether to buy another group of books, or buy a Wii if I can get one.

That's five paragraphs, that's enough. So.... Marvel in my second Flamon LJ look!

P.S. - Oh yeah, the ads on the left side there? Anyone getting them? I remembered because I don't have them blocked on this computer. To get rid of them you can follow the instructions here. You need to put that little bit of code in a style sheet for IE, or in the user Chrome or user Content for Firefox (don't recall which, I put it in both on this computer to be sure). It works.

So, back from the trip.
We didn't get to go to the Chapters . Dad didn't want to drive around looking for it, even when I specifically got the address and figured out how to get there.

We stopped in Yorkton though, and I bought a bunch of books there. The selection isn't nearly as big, there isn't enough to start into Tamora Pierce, Mercedes Lackey, or Terry Pratchett properly, in my opinion.
I did, however, get lucky and see the complete Circle of Magic series, so I bought them. I also bought Hamish X and the Cheese Pirates and have been laughing at the random, insane humour since. The last set of books I bought the first Warriors series. I'd looked at the series a few months ago, liked it, meant to get it, then forgot about it. I spied them out of the corner of my eye and grabbed them.
Impulse book buying .

All in all, I spent just over $100 (CDN). I got a membership card thing too, which was $25 (I included that in the $100), meaning I would have gotten 10% off everything in my purchase, but there was a promotion on where I got 20% off. A one-day promotion, and we were there on the one day it was on. I always seem to have good luck when it comes to these things.

I also bought Pokemon Diamond and the Wifi thing, so I'll be playing that a bit.

Lastly: Photobucket seems broken. I can't see any of my pictures. Not on Photobucket, not on forums. The thumbnails are there, but I can't see my pictures. Can anyone else see them?

Oh, and post-lastly: Our dog's getting his fur cut today. I'll post before and after pictures. You'll have to take my word that it's the same dog.

Four games of WW I'm signed up for at the moment. Marvel at Randomness, Heroes at PPT, anime at NCW, a more generic game at that Solus Lupus place. Technically there's Nomicwolf at Nomicville too, but no one wants to sign up for it .


Ice Cream's open. Has been fairly busy. It's been a bit chilly at night, though. It'll warm up soon, I think. Right now we're only open in the evening on Tuesday and Thursday, since that's when ball games are.
We need a better selection of hard ice cream, though. we have Mint Chocolate Chip, Tiger Tiger, Chocolate, Rocky Road, and Fudgey Turtle (Chocolate with some caramel and chunks of Turtes. Only five kinds, three of which are chocolate based. Definitely need Cookies and Cream. It always goes fastest
(* I do not contribute to it going faster by eating some myself. Nope. No way. *innocent*)


There's a wedding coming up we're likely to go to. It's in Regina, about two weeks from now.
Yay! An 8 hour car ride! Then a wedding! Then another 8 hour car ride!

(That was sarcasm.)
We'll go shopping though . There's a nice big Chapters in Regina. I said I'd go on the trip only on the condition I got to go there. I bought 7 books last time (His Dark Materials, Silverwing series, Sherlock Holmes).

They should have Wiis (Is that the right plural? *Googles it* Ahh.) Wii Systems in Regina (Yorkton's continually sold out), so I should be able to finally get one. Twilight Princess, Goddess of Dawn, Smash Brothers Brawl, and a few others, I want.

The biggest problem will be what books to buy. Oppel's Darkwing won't be out yet, The sequel to Skybreaker isn't even written. Paver's Soul Eater and Nix's Lady Friday might be in paperback (I don't want to buy the hardcover because it costs more and my books won't match).

I'll need suggestions.
